School of Rehabilitation Therapy

Description of Area or Topic of Research:

We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow in the area of mobility, aging and health. We have funds for a fellow for 6 months full time. Using available databases, the successful candidate will have the choice to develop his/her own research question after consulting the supervisors or to work on predefined research questions.

Supervision and Academic Unit:

Reporting to Dr Simon French and Dr Mohammad Auais, School of Rehabilitation Therapy


$45,000 per annum plus benefits; pro-rated to 6-months

Start Date and Duration of Appointment:

March 1st (but could be negotiated)

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in a relevant field (rehabilitation, epidemiology, gerontology, etc.)
  • Excellent epidemiological and analysis expertise
  • Experience in mobility for older adults is an asset
  • The postdoctoral fellow does not need to be located in Kingston, but we prefer those based in Ontario.
